What the day will look like
+ Support the Marine Retail team in servicing a portfolio of accounts including Cargo, Logistics, Shipping, Marine Liabilities and Ports & Terminals
+ Responsible for managing Aon’s Marine Cargo Facility including placement, servicing and administration
+ Assist Account Manager in servicing certain key Marine accounts including client presentations, minutes of meetings and any administration as required
+ Assess and identify risks relating to the clients operations
+ Assist in broking, negotiation and placement of risks to the insurance market
+ Assist in generation and analysis of internal reports as required
+ Build and maintain relationships with clients, prospects and key insurers
Skills and experience that will lead to success
+ 2-4 years of insurance or reinsurance experience either in broking, underwriting or claims
+ Experience in Marine is desirable but not a must
+ Ability to work independently, within a team, as well as across multiple functions and departments
+ Service-oriented with good relationship building skills
+ Analytical, meticulous and pro-active
+ Competent oral and written English proficiency
+ Strong computer / system literacy, including first class Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills
