**Overview**
The Junior Associate GL Reporting prepares the accounting activities necessary to report the financial statements of agencies with low/medium complexity in accordance with Publicis Group guidelines and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
**Responsibilities**
**Financial Reporting & Accounting**
+ Coordinate with agencies and financial departments the recording of accounting transactions necessary to report in HFM financial statements.
+ Complete accounting activities in accordance with the operating indicators defined in the department and the organization.
+ Prepare and review accounting entries as required.
+ Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations. Follow up on reconciling and aging items so that there are no differences greater than 30 days without proper justification.
**Audit & Compliance**
+ Prepare FMC, internal and external audit requirements in accordance with audit plans.
+ Support the internal, FMC, and external audit process by maintaining complete and correct operating procedure controls and providing requested information.
+ Prepare process documentation.
**Customer Service & Collaboration**
+ Provide customer service by answering and resolving ad-hoc questions requiring research; collaborate with clients to escalate inquiries and provide solutions.
**Process Improvement & Strategic Initiatives**
+ Identify opportunities for optimization and continuous improvement of department-related processes to establish new strategies and apply best practices.
+ Participate in special projects and other initiatives required by the organization.
**Qualifications**
+ Studies or equivalent experience with a business focus in Finance or Accounting.
+ 2+ years of relevant Finance or Accounting experience.
+ Intermediate level of Microsoft Excel (understands the use of conditional formulas, vlookups, use of pivot tables to summarize data and understands how to update graphs without affecting formatting).
+ Intermediate/Advanced English (oral and written skills).
+ Familiar with SAP (Altair) is a plus.
