Junior Accounting Analyst

Your role at Clorox:

We are looking for a Junior Accounting Analyst to join our Controlling team. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for ensuring the accuracy of processed financial information in collaboration with the accounting team, adhering to all local and corporate regulations. You will also play an active role in supporting the department's requirements during monthly closings for the Andean Cluster. Furthermore, this position is key in proposing improvements to internal control processes and procedures, as well as addressing internal client requests and supporting both external and internal audits.

In this role, you will:

Perform monthly bank reconciliations and analyze outstanding items.

Execute and monitor intercompany reconciliations in line with internal policies.

Validate and record expense reimbursements and corporate credit card expenses.

Prepare and maintain account analysis, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.

Validate foreign exchange impact on financial statements.

Support compliance with local and international accounting standards (IFRS).

Provide support during internal and external audits.

Ensure proper registration of adjustments and reclassifications, aligned with company policies

Act as liaison between Andean Cluster and Account Payable teams for issues related to vendor invoice processing.

What we look for:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)

1+ years of experience in accounting areas within multinational companies

Intermediate English proficiency

Strong Excel skills including use of pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data analysis tools

Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems

High attention to detail, with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues effectively

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

A proactive, curiosity-driven attitude with a strong desire to learn and optimize processes

Workplace type:

Hybrid - 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home
