Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team. This role involves performing essential accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records, and collaborating with various departments.

ResponsibilitiesPerform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with accounting standards.Assist with sales tax calculations, filings, and compliance across jurisdictions.Utilize Visual 1 Software for data entry, reporting, and financial tracking.Support month-end and year-end closing processes.Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation.Collaborate with senior accountants and other departments as needed.Essential SkillsBasic understanding of accounting principles and practices.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.1-3 years of accounting experience in bank reconciliation, journal entries, and sales tax.Additional Skills & QualificationsFamiliarity with Visual 1 Software is a strong advantage.Experience in the hospitality or related industry.Work Environment

This is an in-person office environment where you will report to senior accounting personnel. Expect a collaborative setting with opportunities to engage with various departments and utilize modern accounting software.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
