Bilingual: English & Spanish (verbal & writing).Education, Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance. At least 2-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a sales & distribution environment.Responsibilities: As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:
Managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general accounting activities. Processing payroll efficiently. Maintaining organized and accurate accounting records. Conducting inventory cycle counts and performing physical inventory analysis. Assisting in the preparation of quarterly tax returns for the IRS and local governmental agencies. Handling Sales & Use tax return preparation (Municipal & PR Treasury). Coordinating and preparing Ad hoc reports for Finance leadership and senior management. Assisting in the preparation of financial statements. Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed. Assisting with the management of accounting, auditing, and budgeting within the organization. Preparing for external audits. Utilizing accounting software & tools (MS Excel, SAP Business 1, QuickBooks, etc.) to maintain records and prepare reports. Being PC literate and mastering relevant tools.Why Join Us:
