Job Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in completion of month-end accounting functions including preparation of journal entriesComplete relevant monthly, quarterly and annual reconciliation of accounts in a timely mannerComplete weekly loading of financial data from ERP system to accounting system and monthly loading of financials to global financial systemPrepare monthly expenditure reports for department leadersAssist in continuous improvement initiativesAssist with business plan and quarterly forecast processPerform any activities that would pertain to the maintenance of an accurate and detailed tooling subledgerPerform any activities that would pertain to the maintenance of an accurate and detailed A/R subledgerPerform any activities related to capital assets/other assets, including subledger management and reconciliationsPerform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by all health, safety and environmental rules and regulations, promoting safety in the workplaceComply with the requirements of C-TPAT/PIPConduct business in an ethical manner in compliance with the Magna Code of ConductReport all accidents/incidents and unsafe conditions/behaviorAdhere to applicable quality systems and IATF16949 standardsAdhere to and promote the Employee Charter and work within the rules, regulations and guidelines of the Plastcoat Employee HandbookMaintain work area in accordance with the principles of 5S and operate daily within these standardsPerform other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related areaHaving or working towards CPA designation is an asset

EXPERIENCE:

1-3 years of relevant experiencePrior experience in the automotive industry is an asset
