It is a non-stop journey, managing cyber risk through automation and data-powered insights.

(Only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents will be considered for this position.) (Hybrid role Tuesday through Thursday in our Plano office.)   

What You Will Do

Deliver critical security features to some of the largest, most complex customer environments in the worldDesign, develop, and unit test Forescout eyeSight product features to create new functionality, improve product capability, and enhance customer experienceWork with senior technical leaders and product management team to define the authentication feature roadmapWork with QA, technical publication, support, and other teams to ensure high quality end-to-end product deliveryMentor junior members of the development teamRapidly learn, evaluate, and explain emerging security technologies

What You Bring To Forescout

1+ years of industry experience in developing softwareBachelor’s or master’s in computer science or related field with a high GPAA true startup spirit with strong "can-do" attitude willing to wear multiple hats when neededExperience designing and implementing complex software solutions to an existing systemHands-on programming experience with Java and Python; open to other languages including C/C++, Perl, and JavaScript, but Java preferredExperience developing in a Linux environmentWorking knowledge of TCP/IP, SNMP, HTTP, SSL, SSH and other networking protocols required with router experience a big plusWorking knowledge of WinRM, WMI, RRP, and SMB protocols is a plusVirtualization development experience with a hypervisor including VMWare, KVM, HyperV, and VirtualBox preferredWorking knowledge of multiple security product categories is highly desirable, such as SIEM, UEBA, CASB, VA, NGFW, ATD, PAM, and EMMExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to efficiently collaborate with cross-functional teamsExcellent communications skills
