The Jr. Program Manager, Customer Outreach will assist the Technical Team Lead in leading and coordinating a team of technical experts to ensure the successful execution of projects and the achievement of organizational goals for the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. Responsibilities Lead and motivate team members to achieve project objectives, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Manage project resources effectively to ensure the timely and successful deployment of site and system projects. Provide technical guidance and support to team members in executing deployment and provisioning efforts. Oversee all site deployment activities and project provisioning to meet project requirements and timelines. Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including internal teams and remote site locations, to ensure alignment with business objectives and customer needs. Engage in strategic planning and resource allocation to support project success and continuous improvement initiatives. Interface with remote site locations to coordinate efforts and provide support for the AFRL (Air Force Research Laboratory) information system environment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project delivery meets technical specifications and quality standards. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as necessary. Support the development of project documentation, reports, and communication materials for stakeholder updates. Provide updates and guidance to users internal and external AFRL by organizing and leading user groups. Process and document associated forms and communications, to document all data and ensure all stakeholders are informed of milestones and objectives. Learn and become proficient in the configuration and use of the AFRL collaboration applications. Develop and keep current training materials. Conduct in-person/on-site and Video Teleconference (VTC) based training sessions with end users. Assist users with the configuration of collaboration applications to meet their project or working group requirements or use cases. Schedule and lead user engagement meetings utilizing the customer’s system to collect customer feedback and resolve customer issues. Author and maintain Policies, Processes, and Procedures within the organization's Strategic IT Management framework. Facilitate discussions with potential remote site locations and development of user guides and other related supporting documentation as required. Facilitate the completion of all forms and agreements to successfully deploy and maintain remote site locations. Assist in completing approval documentation for COMSEC equipment in compliance with AFRLI 61-101 standards. Complete annual company and customer training requirements according to established policies and procedures. Record labor hours daily in the online corporate system. Travel up to 10%. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent required. 3+ years of related work experience. Must be a U.S. citizen. Must possess and maintain a valid U.S. driver’s license. TS/SCI clearance is required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Experience with operating IT systems in a DoD environment is desired. Experience with operating IT systems in a research or academic environment. Must be well organized, an effective communicator at multiple levels, and able to grasp system concepts and communicate their applications. Must be able to effectively conduct and document processes and procedures. Ability to communicate applicable technical subject matter expertise to management and others. Possess excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize. Must be capable of quickly learning new systems and associated software applications for proficient execution of tasks. Must be capable of managing multiple tasks with time-related constraints in a fast-paced environment. Ability to schedule and prioritize work to accommodate customer needs while minimizing the impact on current projects. Possess strong problem-solving skills. Ability to self-start and work independently or as a team. Ability to travel up to 10% as requested. Must have strong customer service skills, including excellent written and verbal communication. Must be well organized, an effective communicator at multiple levels, and able to grasp system concepts and communicate their applications. Ability to establish priorities and meet established deadlines. Must possess strong leadership skills. Possess a high level of integrity and accountability. Ability to attend all customer and PMO online or in-person meetings as requested. Ability to travel up to 10% as required.
