**Overview**
ThePub is looking for a **Junior Motion Designer** who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment to join our team. In this role, you’ll bring static assets to life across social, out-of-home, and other short-form formats, creating engaging motion work that captures attention and elevates big ideas. You’ll be working on a major client account, collaborating closely with creatives, project managers, and account teams to execute standout content under tight deadlines. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and a self-sufficient problem solver with a strong understanding of timing, rhythm, and the art of visual storytelling in short-form video.
**Please note:** Candidates selected for the interview stage will be asked to complete a short motion task using After Effects and Photoshop to assess technical skills and ability to problem-solve.

**Qualifications**
+ **1-2 years of experience** in motion design, preferably in an agency or fast-paced production environment
+ **Proficiency in Adobe After Effects** , with working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere Pro
+ A **solid understanding of animation principles** , timing, and storytelling in short-form video
+ Ability to **work quickly and efficiently** on high-volumedeliverable without sacrificing quality
+ Strong **organizational skills** and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently
+ A keen **eye for design and detail** , including type, layout and transitions
+ Experience working with and adapting existing brand assets and creative direction
+ Strong **problem-solving skills** and the ability to troubleshoot technical and design challenges
+ Comfortable **collaborating across departments** (creative, account, project management) and incorporating feedback
+ Understanding **export formats, aspect ratios** and platforms including social (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube etc) and digital OOH
+ Familiarity with **motion design best practices** **for social media** , including file sizing, pacing and platform-specific norms
+ Experience with **Figma or other design tools** is a plus
+ Bonus: Working knowledge of 3D (Cinema 4D, Blender), sound editing, or After Effects expressions are a plus but not required.
