The Jr. Integration Specialist will troubleshoot, maintain, and support developed interfaces to and from the enterprise EHR and other downstream systems. In this role, the Jr. Integration Specialist will keep the Director of Data Integrations informed on the status of all assigned projects on a regular basis in addition to advising of problems.

Responsibilities Responsible for day-to-day incident response for integration-related issuesTroubleshoot with 3rd parties concerning interface incidentsMonitor the performance of interfaces and resolve any errors associatedWork with hospital staff to investigate causes of system malfunctions and troubleshoot source of errorsManage and work in close coordination of with the project manager for the integration of newly built or acquired hospitalsEvaluate and perform integration engine updatesSupport a 24/7 operation remotely after hoursComplete/pursue any assigned operational initiativesManage and complete any assigned development projects Qualifications

Education and Training:    

Required: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent of education and experience. Desired: Bachelor's degree in computer science or technology-oriented degree

Experience:   

0-2 years of Information Systems experience, preferably in Healthcare IT

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of clinical applications and workflows, implementation, enhancement and support methods and practicesWorking knowledge of computer systems analysis and programming techniques and procedures, including consulting with users to determine hardware, software and system specifications, design, development, documentation, analysis, creation, testing, coding, debugging, or modification of computer systems or programs based on and related to user design specificationsBasic knowledge of IS standards and quality methods and metricsBasic knowledge of project management methodsGeneral familiarity of user business practices, concepts and terminology sufficient to support the applicationsBasic knowledge of data exchange formats and protocols
