The ideal candidate is a creative thinker who can conceptualize, translate, and execute beautifully designed marketing collateral and assets to support our day-to-day efforts. You'll design for a diverse range of media, including (but not limited to): landing pages, GIFs, videos, social graphics, emails, and brochures. This role reports to the Graphic Designer and Web Content Manager.

What You'll DoMultimedia Design - 70%
Support the day-to-day workload of the Marketing and Communications team by designing and delivering College of Pharmacy multimedia collateral to visually and contextually communicate our story/message. Design and develop digital and print content across all formats and channels (static and animated graphics, gifs, brochures, magazine, view-book, programs, templates, emails, paid/display ads, etc) for all platforms (web, video, audio, social).Clearly communicate and present original concepts and designs for projects and campaigns.Create, design and maintain eye-catching graphics and images for College's digital signage, including events, directory, wayfinding, and web feeds from outside the school.Support the website perform updates to enhance the value including (but not limited to) designing and adding content to pages, creating new pages and landing pages, adding and updating events, making directory updates, editing technical SEO elements, etc.Project Management and Deadline Driven - 20%
Experience in managing multiple projects at once, communicating status, and ensuring on-time delivery/execution.Event Support Photo/Video - 10%
Attend College events (after hours and on weekends) to capture photos and videos. Scheduling can be worked out with Graphic and Web Manager.*Must be available to attend/work events outside of business hours and on some weekends.
Required Qualifications*Education:
Bachelor's degree or graphic design, related field.Type of experience:
Minimum amount/type of experience.1-3 years of experience working in graphic design across all media formats and channels.Experience working with WordPress and Adobe Suite.0-3 years of content management system experience.Required skills:
Knowledge of and willingness to learn graphic design principles and technical specifications across all formats including web. Excellent communicator and interpersonal skills.Strong eye for turning complex, technical, and/or a lot of words into a visual.Strong organization skills.Excellent attention to detail.Ability to prioritize and manage time.Ability to handle multiple projects at once, communicate status, and ensure on-time delivery/execution.Proactive, takes initiative, curious, creative, independent, service-orientation, ability to work independently and in a team.Open to feedback and constructive criticism, adaptable, and flexible to work with different teams.Willingness to roll up sleeves to get the job done.Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.Must align with brand guidelines and standards of the College and University.Required knowledge:
CMS systems: Drupal and WordPress and working knowledge of HTML.Designing for email software: Constant Contact or similar. Design tools: Adobe Creative Suite, Canva (a plus).Designing for social media platforms: Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, YouTube.Accessibility standards.Required computer skills:
Google, Microsoft, Adobe.Desired Qualifications*Experience working in higher education.
