**Introduction** As part of our expansive IBM team, you will be collaborating with over 60 FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) analysts, working for a premier entity in the semiconductor sector that anticipates robust double-digit growth over the forthcoming five years. In this role, you will be an integral member of our client's finance and operations team, contributing to a variety of vital processes including expenditure control, capital expenditure management, manufacturing and inventory budgeting and forecasting, revenue and cost analysis, and more. You'll become a member of a Center of Excellence on FP&A domain. Engaging with various stakeholders daily will enhance your teamwork capabilities, ultimately advancing you toward becoming a high-performing and influential financial analyst. **Your role and responsibilities** '- Download & upload data from financial systems - Set up systems and templates in SAP - Maintenance of accounting and financial systems/applications, including system tie-outs - Develop relevant reporting including data preparation, report creation to support forecast, budget and closing cycle. - Provide data analyses to support periodic (monthly, quarterly, year-end) financial and operational performance reviews with the business and finance teams. - Support the financial planning process at the department level, inclusive of budgets, re-forecasts, capital planning and long-term plans. Helps to define and load data into models. - Perform gap analysis - Calculate capex and depreciation expenses - Collects necessary information from various internal parties - Prepare, document and record journal entries based on business needs following Accounting policies **Required technical and professional expertise** Experience - 3.5 - 5 years relevant experience in FP&A and accounting processes like preparing forecast and budget for parts of the P&L of a company, performed financial and accounting analysis to support company business units decision making. - Have good knowledge of General Accepted Accounting Principles Basic Tax rules and basic understanding on internal controls requirements and implicationsSkills: - Good analytical and numeric skills using spreadsheets and databases. - Demonstrate skills of overall accounting & planning processes with analytical skills - Proficient English level - Advance excel and office management - Ability to work independently and with a team - Problem solving and analytical. - Ability to meet deadlines - Flexible thinker - Position 100% base in Guadalajara - Working in hybrid mode **Preferred technical and professional experience** Jr. Financial Analyst with at least 3 years of experience supporting FP&A processes for multinational companies IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
