Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Analyst to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data analysis, a strong understanding of statistical tools, and the ability to work with large datasets. As a Junior Data Analyst, you will assist in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to support decision-making processes across various business functions.
Key Responsibilities: Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data from various internal and external sources. Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track key business metrics. Perform data cleansing and preparation for analysis, ensuring data quality and consistency. Utilize statistical tools and software to identify trends, patterns, and insights from datasets. Assist in creating visualizations to present data insights to internal stakeholders. Support senior analysts in conducting more advanced data analyses. Contribute to the development of data models and predictive analytics. Help interpret findings and provide actionable recommendations based on data insights. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in data analysis. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Basic knowledge of statistical analysis and data manipulation. Familiarity with SQL for data extraction and querying. Understanding of data cleaning techniques and data preparation methods. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with large datasets. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Good communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely. Fluent in English Remote position, with the expectation to commute to San Juan in a few months when the role transitions to a hybrid modality. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with data analysis tools such as R, Python, or similar. Exposure to machine learning concepts and algorithms. Prior internship or work experience in a data analysis role is a plus. Familiarity with business intelligence and reporting tools. Skills & Competencies: Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques. Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
