About the Role

In this opportunity as a Jr. Cloud Engineer, you will

Designing, building, and maintaining scalable cloud solutions.Automating cloud infrastructure and operational tasks using code and tools.Administering and managing server environments, with a strong focus on Linux systems.Developing code in languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Ruby.Working in an agile environment (like Scrum) to deliver high-quality, resilient services.Continuously improving our services, technical standards, and productivity.Solving technical problems quickly and effectively using an evidence-based approach.Clearly communicating complex technical information to various team members and stakeholders.

About You

You’re a fit for the role of Jr. Cloud Engineer if your background includes

2+ years of technology experience with a focus on cloud infrastructure and automation.Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Ruby, PowerShell, .NET, C#, or JavaScript.Basic understanding of cloud automation tools like Terraform, BICEP, or CloudFormation.Familiarity with TCP/IP networking and containerization technologies like Docker.Experience in administering Windows or Linux servers.Strong communication skills to simplify complex designs.

Desired Skills:

It would be beneficial if you also have:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience building Golden Machine Images in cloud environments.Experience with OS patch management and patch automation.Experience with cloud platforms such as Oracle Cloud, AWS, or Azure.Experience in automating Windows or Linux systems.An understanding of security concepts in the cloud and on operating systems.Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and pipeline development.
