Description We are looking for an Entry-Level Accountant to join our team in Irvine, California. This is a Contract-to-Permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity for growth and skill development within a dynamic accounting environment. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and utilizing tools like Microsoft Excel and Sage Intacct. Responsibilities: • Process and manage accounts payable transactions with accuracy and timeliness. • Handle light accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing and payment tracking. • Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure financial records are accurate. • Create and analyze pivot tables and formulas in Microsoft Excel to support financial reporting. • Post accounting entries and reconcile accounts to maintain the integrity of financial data. • Utilize Sage Intacct software to perform accounting tasks and generate reports. • Assist in preparing financial statements and supporting documentation. • Identify discrepancies in financial records and recommend corrective actions. • Collaborate with team members to improve accounting workflows and processes. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance with a strong focus on detail. • Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. • Strong skills in bank and account reconciliations. • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and formulas. • Familiarity with Sage Intacct or similar accounting software. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a team.
