**Overview**
We **are partnering with one of the world’s largest healthcare and insurance networks** to support the **modernization of their infrastructure, technology, and delivery processes** . Our team is helping them improve system reliability, scalability, and security while ensuring a seamless experience for the engineering teams involved. This is a mission-critical initiative that will impact millions of users and providers worldwide.
As a **Junior DevOps Engineer** , you’ll be part of a dedicated onboarding program where you'll receive **direct mentorship from a senior DevOps** engineer already embedded with the client. You'll work alongside a cross-functional engineering team to **implement cloud infrastructure, build CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and support containerized environments** . This role is ideal for someone eager to grow, contribute to a high-impact project, and build a career in cloud and DevOps engineering.
**Responsibilities**
**Your Impact:**
+ Work closely with a senior **DevOps** mentor and gain hands-on experience with real-world, **cloud-native** projects.
+ Assist in provisioning and managing cloud **infrastructure** (primarily **Azure,** with exposure to AWS or GCP), including configuration, networking, storage, and virtualization.
+ Help build and maintain **infrastructure** as code using **Terraform** to deploy and manage cloud resources efficiently.
+ Support the **automation** of deployment and configuration tasks using **scripting** and **infrastructure-as-code** tools.
+ Contribute to the setup, maintenance, and improvement of **CI/CD** pipelines to enable faster and safer software delivery.
+ Work with **container** technologies like **Docker** and **Kubernetes** to support scalable and reliable application environments.
+ Assist software teams in **troubleshooting** system-level issues and supporting varied deployment environments.
+ Guide application teams during their onboarding to **container** platforms, including capacity planning and resource allocation.
+ Learn and implement **security** best practices throughout the **DevOps** lifecycle, embedding **security** into **automation** and deployment processes.
**Qualifications**
**Your Skills & Experience:**
+ 3+ years of hands-on experience in **DevOps,** cloud **infrastructure,** or platform engineering roles.
+ Solid experience working with Microsoft **Azure** and **Terraform** for provisioning and managing **infrastructure.**
+ Familiarity with **Docker** and **Kubernetes** for **container** orchestration and application deployments.
+ Practical **scripting** experience in languages such as **Bash, Python,** or similar, used for **automation** tasks.
+ Exposure to **CI/CD** workflows and tools, with working knowledge of version control systems like **Git.**
+ Experience supporting **container** platform clusters in production or pre-production environments.
+ Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
+ Collaborative team player who thrives in **agile** environments and adapts well to shifting priorities and fast-paced settings.
+ Solid **troubleshooting,** analytical thinking, and root-cause analysis abilities to support system reliability and performance.
**Set Yourself Apart With:**
+ Experience deploying and managing **containerized** applications and working with **microservices** architecture.
+ Exposure to **agile** methodologies like **Scrum, Kanban,** or **SAFe** and comfort working in iterative delivery cycles.
+ Familiarity with configuration management tools such as **Ansible,** Puppet, or Chef.
+ Understanding of DevSecOps principles and hands-on experience with **security** practices or automated **security** tools.
+ Experience with popular **DevOps** toolchains such as **Bitbucket, GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube,** or **Coverity.**
+ Knowledge of or experience working within secure, regulated environments (e.g., healthcare, finance) is a plus.
