Job Description
As a Junior Analytics Consultant within Circana’s Marketing Effectiveness practice (Marketing Mix Modeling) you will work with
advertisers to help assess how well their marketing activities are working to drive sales and how they should most effectively use their
budget in the future. You will serve as a commercial and analytical expert and
point of contact for some of our largest Consumer Packaged Goods clients to deepen our relationships and expand our partnerships.
You will closely work together with our senior consultants, modeling & analytics experts and take part in executing local/regional client
programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
● -Support senior consultants in maintaining and developing client relationships,
● -Partner with clients to provide the best marketing plan based on the results of analysis and optimizations
● -Take part in and drive analytic studies to meet clients’ and advertisers’ research objectives on the fast moving digital
landscape:
Manage media data collection and categorization process
Support and validate data coding process
Support and validate modeling & analytics process
Translate outcomes and develop decks to report results & provide advice, present to client
● -Closely collaborate with other Nielsen teams to provide holistic support to clients
● -Deliver insights and recommendations on industry leading Marketing Mix and Lift analytics
QUALIFICATIONS
● -Bachelor degree required, advanced degree preferred in Media or Communications
● -Management, Marketing Communication, Statistics, Business Administration, Business Mathematics and Economics
● -Enjoy being hands-on with data and analysis
● -Consultative story-telling ability to turn data into insights
● -Enthusiasm for applying statistical analysis to address business issues
● -Comfortable working with large data sets/big data
● -Well-organized and detail-oriented, capable of handling several work streams at a time while meeting deadlines
● -Experience in media, marketing research or analytics in FMCG/Finance/Technology/Automotive is an advantage
● -Experience with analysing on-line advertising is an advantage
● -Strong communication, project management and presentation skills
● -Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Powerpoint and Excel
● -Fluent English (German is a plus)
● -Experience with Nielsen or Circana data is a plus
