**Resumen** Is responsible for supporting the procurement process by executing purchase orders, monitoring supplier performance, and ensuring the availability of materials required for production. This position plays a key role in managing the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system, maintaining inventory levels, and supporting cost-efficient sourcing within the metal-mechanical manufacturing environment. **Responsabilidades** **Mains Responsibilities:** + Execute purchase orders according to MRP signals and production requirements. + Maintain updated records of suppliers, lead times, and material availability. + Monitor delivery schedules to ensure timely material supply and prevent production delays. + Coordinate with production, engineering, and logistics teams to align material flow with operational needs. + Follow up with suppliers regarding order confirmations, shipping status, and delivery performance. + Support the negotiation of prices, payment terms, and delivery conditions under supervision. + Track and resolve discrepancies related to invoices, quantities, or quality issues. + Maintain accurate data in ERP/MRP systems and prepare purchasing reports. + Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement processes. + Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and supplier management procedures. **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, International Trade, or related field (recent graduate or 1–2 years of experience). + Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar). + Basic understanding of supply chain, purchasing, and inventory control. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). + Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills. + Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (written and spoken). **Preferred Competencies** + Teamwork and collaboration in cross-functional environments. + Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail. + Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. + Basic negotiation skills and supplier relationship management.
