What You'll Do
We accept online applications from exceptional business school, engineering, science, law, and humanities students who are nearing completion of their undergraduate or graduate studies. Like our full-time staff, you’ll work alongside some of the world’s top minds on cases that reshape business, government, and society. Consulting work is varied and rigorous, much of it performed at our client sites. Projects can vary in length, size, and location, depending on the client’s challenge. You’ll collaborate on challenging projects with team members from many backgrounds and disciplines, increasing your understanding of complex business problems from diverse perspectives and developing new skills and experience to help you in the future, be that at BCG or beyond.

We are looking for candidates who meet all of the following criteria:

Internships and part-time jobs are not included
Academic background
Currently enrolled in universities or graduate schools outside Japan, with a graduation date between January 2027 and December 2027.

Language proficiency
Business-level English or higher.
Japanese language skills are not required.
Regarding Previous Applications
Applicants who have taken an online test or interview for the BCG Japan 2026 Summer Intern position within the past six months are not eligible to apply for this selection process.

Third Round Interviews and Beyond (On-site at BCF / Online)
※For those attending the 2025 Boston Career Forum, interviews will be held on-site. For those not attending, interviews will be conducted online.
Interview Dates: November 21–22
Participants will be engaged in actual client projects and take part in case work as part of their experience.
