Join us and build _your_ ambition. **ABOUT THE ROLE** Amrize is recruiting **Journeyman Millwrights** to maintain, improve, and optimize the mechanical operations for our Cement Plant located in **Richmond, BC.** This is a permanent, full time, hourly opportunity. **WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH** + Maintain and repair heavy industrial equipment, including rotary cement kilns, ball mills, large gearsets, crushers, and compressors + Service and troubleshoot a wide range of mechanical systems: fans, blowers, conveyors (belt, bucket, screw, pneumatic), and vibrating screens + Repair and maintain gearboxes, clutches, pumps, and other rotating equipment + Respond urgently to equipment breakdowns while upholding safety and product quality standards + Perform regular inspections to prioritize preventative maintenance over reactive repairs + Collaborate with team members and work independently to meet maintenance and operational goals + Communicate with operations, delivery teams, and management to resolve mechanical and process issues + Maintain accountability by keeping managers informed and owning outcomes of decisions + Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement aimed at maintaining top-tier facility performance + Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors. **WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR** **Education:** Journeyman **Required Training/Certifications:** Journeyperson status. Preference to dual ticketed **Required Work Experience:** Minimum two (2) years heavy manufacturing/mining experience. **Additional Requirements:** + A commitment to working safely + Troubleshooting skills. + Self-starter: Capacity to work as part of a team and independently + Ability to work in various work environments (hot and cold). + Reliable and dependable + Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
