We have an immediate opening for an Industrial Millwright Mechanic in our Carberry, Manitoba, facility. The successful candidate will work with maintenance supervisors, teams and other trade groups to improve reliability, maintain a safe environment and continuous improvement to ensure efficiency and reduce downtime through preventive/predictive maintenance, timely repairs and inspections in a fast-paced environment.

 

Proactive pre-use inspection of tools and equipment.Complete site-specific documentation permits and other customer paperwork.Interface with the customer and provide professional and courteous feedback in a timely manner.Recognize, report and resolve all hazards.Other duties as assigned.

Previous relatable industrial experience, especially within a good manufacturing environment, would be considered an asset, but not required.Working knowledge of mechanical systems including but not limited to pumps, bearings, gearboxes, motors, alignments, lubrication, and vibration analysis.Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and a keen sense of urgency in a safe environment.Medical benefits Attendance incentives About McCain
