Job Description

CEDA is Currently seeking Journeyman Pipefitters and Apprentice Pipefitters for our upcoming Pipeline expansion project at the Strathcona Lindbergh facility, near Bonnyville, AB.

What We Offer:

Journeyman Rate: $48.00 per hourApprentice Rates:  1st Year - $28, 2nd Year - $33, 3rd Year - $38 and 4th Year - $43Living Out Allowance provided for out-of-town workersSafe, supportive, and team-oriented work environmentOpportunities for long-term employment on future projects

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Assemble and install industrial and pipeline piping systemsRead and interpret piping isometrics, blueprints, and technical drawingsPerform system testing (hydrostatic, pneumatic, etc.) and quality checksEnsure all work complies with industry regulations, safety standards, and project specificationsCollaborate effectively with other trades, such as welders and laborers, to complete projects on scheduleTroubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise during installation or maintenance

Qualifications:

Journeyman Pipefitter Certification (Red Seal preferred)Apprentices must be valid active registered apprenticesValid safety tickets including CSTS 2020, H2S Alive, WHMIS 2015, Aerial Work Platform and Fall Protection3-5 years of experience in pipeline construction or industrial facilitiesAbility to work in challenging weather conditions and physically demanding environmentsStrong communication and problem-solving skillsAble to provide a negative result from a CEDA booked Drug & Alcohol testMust have a minimum class 5 license (cannot be a GDL) with a clean 5 year abstract
