Journeyman Lineman


We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Journeyman Lineman to install, maintain, and repair electrical power systems. This role involves working with high-voltage lines, both overhead and underground, and requires a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and technical excellence.

Journeyman Lineman Details:

Direct Hire position$40.00 to $60.00 /hourFirst Shift (Sunday through Sunday from 12:00am to 12:00pm)Construct, maintain, and repair overhead and underground electrical distribution and transmission systems.Install and replace transformers, insulators, switches, conductors, and other electrical components.Operate specialized equipment such as bucket trucks, digger derricks, backhoes, and trenchers.Inspect and test power lines and auxiliary equipment to identify faults or hazards.Respond to outages and emergency call-outs, often in adverse weather conditions.Perform rigging and climbing duties on poles and towers.Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and industry standards.Train and mentor apprentice linemen and assist in their development.Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Journeyman Lineman Qualifications:

Completion of a certified lineman apprenticeship program.Proven experience in line work, preferably with a utility or contractor.Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.Strong understanding of electrical theory and safety practices.Physical strength and stamina to perform demanding tasks in various weather conditions.Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).NFPA 70E - Classroom training and hands on.Power line Journeyman license (TDLR if Texas)DOT NumberAerial lift (Bucket truck training/certification)H2S training certificate or copies or cardPEC or Basin United wither one.
