Title: Warehouse Technician - 113658
Primary Location: Canada (CA) - British Columbia  - Langley  

 

John Deere Specialty Products is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of WAREHOUSE TECHNICIAN at our Langley Facility. We are looking for motivated candidates to be members of our high quality, fast-paced team!

Position Summary

In this role you will be part of a high-performance team responsible for receiving, sorting, picking and delivering parts for daily production requests as well as performing tasks associated with inventory control through S.A.P and Warehouse Management Programs. Candidates should possess the following preferred qualifications, capabilities, and knowledge:

Performs work in accordance with all internal quality and safety standards Control inventory through S.A.P and Warehouse Management programs Accurately receive and store parts Operate and move parts using forklift, tugger, reach truck, order picker or by hand Fill Kanban bins and attend to production part requests Load/Unload carts in a timely manner according to schedule Pick and deliver parts and assembly kits to appropriate factory workstations Complete daily cycle counts, report shortages and damaged products Maintain a clean work environment and follow the 5S methodology Contribute towards Kaizen and Suggested Correction Request (SCR) initiatives Performs other miscellaneous duties inherent to the job

 

Requirements

2-3 years of work experience in a warehouse or line manufacturing environment preferred Experience with powered industrial truck operations such as Forklifts, Scissor Lifts, Order Picker, Shunt Trucks preferred Experience with overhead cranes preferred Experience with SAP or MS Office an asset High School Diploma or G.E.D

 

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and push up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Ability to work from heights up to 30 feet. Ability to bend, stoop, reach and climb ladders. Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures. Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment

 

Hour of Work

Successful incumbents must be available to work Monday to Friday 7:00AM – 3:30PM.


Additional job details:

Starting rate of $28.84/hour Safety equipment will be supplied.
