**Primary Location:** United States (US) - Missouri - Springfield
As a ** ** **Parts Cleaner** with John Deere Reman in Springfield, MO, you will:
Clean, inspect and sort parts from the disassembly operation in a production environment focused on safety, quality, and teamwork.
Job details are dependent on duties assigned but in general consist of the following:
+ Communicate with Team Leader and Supervisor to prioritize production of units.
+ Communicate quality issues to the Quality department and follow quality hold procedures.
+ Move units through the process from station to station completing paperwork, SAP and AMES transactions as required.
+ Operate spin blaster, tumbler, typhoon, zinc blaster and media blast cabinets.
+ Perform material handling and inspection of parts to determine if they meet specifications.
+ May require some use of precision measuring equipment
+ Identify and tag parts for engine line kanbans or returns to the warehouse.
+ Regular attendance is an essential function to perform this job.
+ Assist and support other team members.
+ Clean work area and perform other miscellaneous duties inherent to the job.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Must be at least 18 years of age.
+ Must have at least one of the following:
+ High School Diploma or G.E.D.
+ National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC)
+ At least 3 years of manufacturing work experience
+ Ability to perform manual tasks related to described job duties for duration of work shift – with or without reasonable accommodation; including but not limited to frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing of repetitive actions.
+ Ability and willingness to work any shift and potential overtime (including weekends).
