Job Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Architectural Job Captain to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production of design deliverables, construction documentation, and construction administration tasks. This role requires strong coordination and management skills to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and coordinate the production of quality contract documents based on prototype and/or job-specific requirements.Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day activities of various architectural projects, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.Guide the extended team to create complete design and construction documents.Collaborate with Project Architects and Project Managers to ensure the vision of the work stays on point.Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.Ensure designs and documents comply with all applicable codes.Provide mentorship and guidance to junior design staff.Essential SkillsProficiency in Revit and CAD.Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Experience in architectural design and project management.Familiarity with building codes, zoning ordinances, and fire codes.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.4+ years of architectural experience.Experience in TI (Tenant Improvement) and commercial projects.Experience in creating detailed architectural drawings and overseeing construction phases.Work Environment
The office has an open format with a team of 18 people. It is conveniently located next to a Starbucks. Work hours are Monday to Thursday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM and Friday from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $39.00/hr.
