About the Job:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Payable Cum General Cashier to join in Jumeirah Olhahali Island.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
Process and verify all incoming invoices for accuracy and proper documentation. Ensure timely payment of vendor invoices in accordance with company policies. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or payment issues. Maintain up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions. Assist with month-end closing processes and reporting. Work closely with purchasing and receiving departments to verify deliveries and approvals. Monitor and maintain accurate aging reports. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal controls. To assist in all other tasks assigned by AFC or DOF. Support audits by providing required documentation and reports. General Cashier: Manage daily cash operations, including receiving, counting, and reconciling cash and payments. Prepare and make bank deposits. Maintain accurate records of all cash transactions and prepare daily cash reports. Handle petty cash fund and process reimbursements. Ensure compliance with cash handling procedures and security protocols.About You:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in the hospitality industry. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Oracle Fusion, Sun Systems, ADACO or similar ERP systems). Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Knowledge of local tax laws and accounting principles. Must be enthusiastic to work with multi-nationality.About the Benefits:
