**Job Summary** We are seeking a Principal Infra Developer with 12 to 16 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Jira Admin and a strong background in Finance & Accounting or the Automotive Industry. This role requires working from the office during the day shift with occasional travel as needed. The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing and maintaining our infrastructure ensuring the smooth operation of our systems and contributing **Responsibilities** + Lead the development and maintenance of infrastructure systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. + Oversee the administration and configuration of Jira to support project management and collaboration. + Provide technical expertise in the Finance & Accounting or Automotive Industry to enhance system functionality. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address infrastructure needs and challenges. + Develop and implement best practices for infrastructure management and maintenance. + Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all infrastructure-related activities. + Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and disruptions. + Conduct regular system audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement. + Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure systems and processes. + Train and mentor junior team members to build a strong and capable infrastructure team. + Participate in the planning and execution of infrastructure projects ensuring timely and successful completion. + Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve infrastructure systems. + Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on infrastructure status and project progress. **Qualifications** + Must have extensive experience in Jira Admin demonstrating the ability to configure and manage the platform effectively. + Should have a strong background in Finance & Accounting or the Automotive Industry leveraging domain knowledge to enhance system functionality. + Must possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues. + Should have experience in leading and mentoring a team fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. + Must be able to work from the office during the day shift and be willing to travel as needed. + Should have strong communication skills both written and verbal to effectively interact with stakeholders. + Must be detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. **Certifications Required** Certified Jira Administrator ITIL Foundation Certification PMP Certification (preferred) Cognizant is an equal opportunity employer that embraces diversity, champions equity and values inclusion.
