Jet Project Coordinator Part-Time Temp Student

The Jet Project Coordinator plays a critical role in the Program Management team, directly supporting Product Development projects throughout all stages of the project lifecycle from Discovery through Close-out. The Project Coordinator will support Project/Program Managers in facilitating cross-functional PREP (Production Readiness and Execution Processes) meetings for prototype, pre-production, pilot, and production launch. Additional responsibilities include, but not limited to identifying and recording action items, tactical issue mitigation, leading small cross-functional project teams, developing and maintaining work plans, periodic reporting of KPIs, continuous improvement projects, and other tasks as assigned by Program/Platform leadership.

Position details: This role is targeted for a part-time student local to the Duluth area. Work schedule will be mutually agreed upon to allow for student and Cirrus to adjust as needed. Ideal candidate should be able to support a more regular schedule workday schedule. 

Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

Coordinates with cross-functional project teams and facilitates project meetings as assigned. Prepares presentations and/or presents information as assigned. Use analyses tools to evaluate and monitor the overall project performance metrics. Leads or provides direct support for prototype builds, pre-production builds, pilot builds, and production launch using the PREP methodology Leads tactical teams for timely issue resolution Analyzes, reviews, and documents the GRRI (Gate Readiness Review Indicator) requirements of a project throughout its lifecycle. Identifies and records meeting notes, key decisions, and logs action items in JIRA. Follows through with assignees to ensure timely execution of action items. Escalates to program/functional leadership A/R. Learns and follows Cirrus New Project Introduction (NPIS) methodology and provides recommendations for continuous improvement Fields program requisitions from IPT members, verifies purchase order requirements, and provides periodic updates (including budgetary) to requestors and program leadership Completes project management tasks as assigned by Program/Platform leadership. Professionalism in speaking, presenting, and communicating with team members is required and expected to lead by example. This is required in all formats (public speaking, team meetings, PowerPoint, memos, emails, etc.) Positive outlook, demeaner, and attitude. Looks for opportunity to bring positive outcomes and dispositions in others when dealing with sometimes critical or distressing information. Project leadership requires extreme attention to detail with a high level of accuracy required. Business casual appearance, or above, as required for daily and/or meeting needs. Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
