Jennie-O Turkey Store - 2nd Shift Storeroom Attendant - Barron, WI
Hourly pay rate for this position: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour **Job Responsibilities** 1. Maintain the maintenance spare parts inventory with accurate records through use of the Maintenance Management System 2. Completes purchase requisitions as required by corporate purchasing 3. Issues parts to maintenance, refrigeration, and other plant personal 4. Communicates with maintenance, refrigeration, and supervisory employees to ensure the correct parts are on hand when needed 5. Track parts inventory daily 6. Orders, receives, and restocks maintenance parts 7. Keeps the Parts Room clean and organized 8. Maintains and communicates receiving records 9. Assist Storeroom Coordinator and other duties as assigned 10. Manage picklists and cycle counts. 11. Collection and closing of work orders and P.M.'s using the Enterprise Asset Management system AM 12. As necessary assist with storeroom second and third shift vacation coverage and other projects associated with the Storeroom 13. Ability to work weekends to cover production possible every 5th, flexible to cover other shifts when needed 14. Will fill in at the desk in the storeroom approximately 4 times per month 15. Communication through phone/two-way radio. **Minimum Qualifications** ***** High school diploma or equivalent ***** One-year industrial work experience ***** See Job Description for Essential Functions and Minimum Requirements of Position ***** PHYSICAL: No work restrictions prohibiting standing for long periods of time ***** No work restrictions prohibiting lifting 50 pounds, and being able to climb stairs and ladders ***** Able to multitask between telephone calls, radio calls and servicing the counter ***** Able to read, write and speak English ***** Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate at all levels **Preferred Qualifications** ***** Two years’ industrial experience in the poultry industry ***** Previous data entry (computer skills) experience ***** Machine parts/mechanical parts knowledge of familiarity ***** Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and parts manuals ***** No work restrictions prohibiting lifting 50 pounds ***** Good typing skills **Response Process** To be considered for this position, you must have completed six (6) months in your present position.
