Integrated Command, Control and Communications Systems Program Office (IC3 SPO)Integrated Warfighting Networks Systems Program Office (IWN SPO)

 

These SPOs deliver secure, integrated communications and enable seamless coordination across the Australian Defence Force. This is a proud milestone for our team as we continue to drive mission-critical capability forward.

 

We are seeking permanent Cost Modeller based in Canberra to support this Integrated Work Package.

 

 

What You’ll Do
 

This role offers a broad scope, with key role responsibilities including but not limited to:
 

Deliver cost performance analysis, program management reporting and evaluation of baselinesDevelopment of lifecycle project cost estimationConduct financial analysis and cost analysis in support of project execution planningCompilation of comprehensive basis of estimate documentation and cost proposals for internal and external reviewsDeveloping financial plans, policies, processes for budgeting and accurate cost models

What You’ll Bring 
 

Strong cost analysis and modelling experience in a Defence environment

Experience in estimation of project costs, including developing cost models, submissions, evaluations and tenders

Experience in managing tender processes and major acquisition projects

Bachelors or qualification in accounting or financial management field

Strong verbal and written communication skills

 

 

Due to the nature of the work, you are required to currently hold and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 1 or higher Security clearance as required by the Commonwealth. In some instances, compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements may also be an inherent requirement.
