Main responsibilities:
Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers to generate new business for the organization Follow up calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers Identify new business opportunities within key accounts to grow market share and integrate new clientele. Research sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers Develop and implement strategies to maintain and/or expand sales and promote Estes transportation services within an assigned territory Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints Coordinates sales effort with sales management, marketing, accounting, logistics and R&D Analyzes potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customers’ value to the organization Plans and organizes personal sales strategy by maximizing the return on time investment Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services Keeps up-to-date knowledge of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas Participates in trade shows and conventions nationwide. Develops strategy and sets policy and procedures to support successful product launches. Oversee all sales projects from concept to delivery. Participate in cross functional teams within manufacturing and retail to develop strategies supporting market growth. Provide guidance and leadership to the manufacturing staff and leadership team from the sales perspective. Report the daily, weekly, and monthly data information as needed to maintain sales activities. Responsible to promote and pursuit continuous improvements Develop and maintain current broker network Other duties as assigned by management
We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

Education/Training:
High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing preferred.Related Experience:
A minimum of three years of sales or distribution experience required (foodservice industry or related preferred). Experience in restaurant operations desirable. Experience using quantitative & qualitative research data will be helpful. Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach)Knowledge/Skills:
Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as customer service and presentation abilities. Should also have demonstrated problem solving ability and negotiation skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel required. Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment The ability to develop others, build collaborative professional relationships and foster a culture of inclusivity.Travel:
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time as needed Must have valid state driver’s license and an active passport to travel internationallyThe position will be based in Anchorage, AK.
