**Description**
The Carnegie Mellon University School of Music is seeking applications for the part-time position of Jazz Choir Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the JIVE Jazz Choir in weekly rehearsals and one performance each semester. This ensemble is open to all CMU students by audition.
Candidates who can contribute to the school in additional capacities, such as offering private lessons and teaching academic courses, will be given special consideration.
**Qualifications**
Master's Degree in Music preferred, evidence of successful teaching experience in leading a jazz choir, and demonstrated experience as a performer.
