The Production Engineer is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the manufacturing and production processes for systems, equipment, and components used in Department of Defense programs. This role ensures that production meets quality, cost, and schedule requirements while adhering to DoD standards and specifications. The Production Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency, resolve technical issues, and ensure the delivery of mission-critical products. Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency and compliance with DoD standards. + Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve production methods, reduce costs, and enhance product quality. Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to streamline operations. + Technical Support: Provide engineering expertise to resolve technical issues during production. Collaborate with design and quality assurance teams to ensure manufacturability and adherence to specifications. + Compliance and Standards: Ensure production processes comply with DoD regulations, such as MIL-STD-883, MIL-STD-810, and ISO standards.
