Above all, we judge success by the success of our team and the happiness of our customers. **Location:** Hartford, Connecticut state **_**Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future**_** **Responsibilities** • Find opportunities for continuous automation and optimizations in the Production Environment for the Group Benefits domain. • Design, implement and automate the continuous integration and deployment pipelines. • Define strategies for Application Performance Monitoring, Resiliency and Chaos Engineering. • Design and create Observability dashboards for monitoring and generating alerts. • Perform fault injection experiments to uncover hidden bugs and monitor blind sports in the application and infrastructure. • Perform root cause analysis and incident management. Collaborate with Development Team members to perform code fixes and run unit and integration tests. • Assess and evaluate production issues to optimize the MTTR. • Engage actively in system design, capacity planning and use case reviews. **Qualifications** • Hands-on experience building microservices with Java 17, Spring Framework (Spring Boot 3, Spring Web Flux, Spring Data or Spring JDBC). • 8 plus years hands on experience in application software development • Hands-on experience with Automation and building Continuous Integration and Deployment pipelines using any of Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CloudFormation, Terraform and Ansible. • Hands-on experience using Open Telemetry with Observability tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace. • Trained / Hands-on experience with Dockers, Kubernetes, AWS EKS, AWS ECS, AWS Lambda, AWS SQS and AWS FIS (Fault Injection Service) Travel: 0-5% **Salary and Other Compensation:** **Applications will be accepted until May 9th, 2025.** The annual salary for this position is between $70K - $117,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. **Why Choose Cognizant?** Our associates enjoy robust benefits and training opportunities from our industry recognized, award winning Academy team.
