What success looks like in this role:

• Leverages subject matter expertise to lead in the design and development of significant and technically challenging efforts across major program / product areas.
• Defines architectural standards, tools and methodologies to ensure technical consistency and quality across the company’s functional applications.
• Identifies, adapts and applies new technologies that can help improve systems overall.
• Collaborates with senior members of development / functional departments across the company to share experiences and knowledge and to identify ways to simplify and integrate products.
• Works with management on the development of Software Engineering governance / performance management processes.
• Helps define, develop and deliver training and education for systems users, Software Engineering colleagues, allied groups and other stakeholders.
• Identifies proprietary intellectual property and recommends patent applications.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

BA/BS degree and 8+ years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
Master’s degree preferred

Senior and seasoned security expert with deep domain knowledge in the area of solution and application security, threat modeling, OWASP guidelines, SAST/DAST/SCA/Hardening and other concepts.

Knowledge of AWS based security solution architecture, DevSecOps, Trivy, Invicti, Sonar, Nessus, OWASP Top 10, SCA, Opensource security hardening, Image hardening, container security, network security, etc.
