Job description

Infosys is seeking a Java Tech Lead.

In the role of Technology Lead, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our Java applications. You will interface with key stakeholders, leveraging your deep technical expertise across the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This includes requirements elicitation, application architecture definition, design, and high-level design creation. You will also contribute high-quality code for assigned modules, lead validation efforts for all testing phases, and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. Required Qualifications :Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga/Toronto, ON (Canada) or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.A minimum of 4 years of experience in full-stack development with a strong focus on Java and Angular.Proven experience designing, developing, and deploying robust web applicationsCandidates authorized to work for any employer in Canada without employer based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. At least 6 years of experience in Full Stack web Development At least 5 years of experience in Java, Spring bootAt least 5 years of experience in front-end development using Angular 11 or above.Good experience in project life cycle activities on development projects.Experience with automation and performance testing relevant to development is a plus.Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environmentExperience in Telecom domain Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.In-depth knowledge of back-end development using Java, including Spring framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC), Hibernate, JPA, and J2EE principles.Expertise in front-end development using Angular 11 or above (experience with other versions considered as well).Solid understanding of asynchronous programming concepts like RxJS.Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS preprocessors (Sass, Less).Proven ability to build responsive web applications that adapt seamlessly across various devices (desktop, mobile).Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies (CI/CD pipelines, containerization) is a plus.Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a cross-functional team.A passion for building user-centric and high-quality web applications.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs.

Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in the below location will be:
Ontario: $ 89004 to $ 115491
