About Trade and Transaction Reporting (TTR) Team
The Trade and Transaction Reporting IT Team (TTR) is an IT engineering organisation that supports and maintains a portfolio of shared services within MSS.
This role sits within the TTR IT team who maintain and enhance a suite of java based services to facilitate trade reporting in a timely manner to our Regulators. The service is primarily built to enable the reporting of CIB trade information to external regulatory bodies. Jurisdiction scope is global and is segregated into 3 regions: Americas (CFTC, SEC, CSA), EMEA (FCA, ESMA, MIFID, SFTR, BOE, etc), APAC (HKMA, MAS, ASIC, JFSA, KRX) with project work dependent on business priorities such as the implementation of a new mandatory regulatory specification.
What are we doing?
With the ever-changing regulatory requirements, we must maintain and enhance the TTR solution to meet the evolving requirements of the external regulatory bodies. This requires in-depth review of business requirements alongside third party Global Trade Repository specifications and our Regulator stipulations to ensure full compliance with the scope of what is reported, with accuracy of the content, the compliance with the message specification and the timeliness within which it is reported. The solutions built must align to our strategic architecture which is service based, this remains a long term goal as we continue to migrate reporting solutions from our legacy platform DSL to RRCP.
In this role, you will:
Work with a team of engineers and collaborate with colleagues globallyResponsible for the software development lifecycle of the changes you implementRemediation – working to tight deadlines to turn around small incremental fixes quickly and safelyMaintain code base (defects, vulnerabilities, enhancements, etc)Assist Operations with remediation efforts through tooling and building upon existing capabilitiesLiaise with Asset Class IT teams to improve the quality of the input data and protect the TTR solution from absorbing workarounds/complexityWorking within a POD with a defined charterSome careers shine brighter than others.
