About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Engineer (MTS III) to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in Java Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and has hands-on experience in designing and building scalable, high-performance backend systems. You’ll work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your expertise will directly shape the backbone of our platform.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java Spring Boot.

Build and maintain RESTful APIs following OpenAPI Specifications.

Work on end-to-end features including database design, service orchestration, and API integration.

Collaborate cross-functionally with frontend, DevOps, and QA teams.

Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and performance tuning sessions.

Ensure application security and follow best practices for secure coding.

Drive and support CI/CD pipeline implementation using tools like GitLab or AWS CodePipeline.

Contribute to infrastructure-as-code and deployments using AWS CDK (preferred).

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience (5–7 years) in backend development with a focus on microservices.

Solid understanding of REST API design and distributed systems.

Familiarity with networking protocols and secure, scalable service implementation.

Experience with performance tuning and observability in production-grade systems.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to lead technical discussions and mentor team members.

Strong project ownership and leadership skills, especially at MTS III level.
