We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer

Securities Services Tech is one of the large asset classes within CIB Tech and has teams in London, Canada, Poland, Hong Kong, Guangzhou and Pune – supporting businesses covering Banks and Broker Dealers, Fund Admin, Transfer Agency and Digital Data Innovation functions. The organization is rapidly transforming both its people structure and ways of working to better align with our Front Office part of the business and increase the speed and quality of delivery. We have adopted a DevOps model driving agile delivery and building a strong product ownership group. The 2025 change portfolio is nine figures executed by c.1000 technology professionals globally.
The individual in this role is empowered and accountable to provide hands-on technical expertise to identify and build commercially viable, fit-for-future, and competitive engineering solution. This involves leading the technical delivery of highly complex, business critical, client facing, front-to-back services for the Securities Services business.

The successful candidate will also be responsible to develop and grow the engineering capability of the Custody and Asset Servicing functional team globally and Securities Services Technology team in India horizontally, via contributing to build strong technology skills and capabilities.

In this role, you will:

End to end implementation of the requirements provided by business using the project tech stackEnsure compliance with architectural principles and development standardsEnsure solution designs address performance, availability, security and supportability challenges, as well as business functional requirementsWork with colleagues from partner teams globally to translate business and technical requirements into solutionsEnsure DevSecOps automation strategies for all solutionsEnsure successful delivery of solutions into Production environmentProvide support for live IT services including remediation of vulnerabilities and server maintenance activitiesCarries out activities that are large in scope, cross-functional and technically difficult.Drive Engineering Excellence through Non-functional aspects.Develop data integration interfaces, APIs and micro servicesDevelop test automation suites for API testingWork with tech stakeholders across multiple systems and regions
