You will drive strategic software development by partnering with enterprise architects and cross-functional teams to build and validate technology proof-of-concepts for enterprise-scale implementations. Lead the design and development of scalable, resilient middle-tier systems aligned with core business value propositions, leveraging API-first architecture, domain-driven design, and Acceptance Test-Driven Development (ATDD). Collaborate closely with product, marketing, and customer success teams to translate customer needs into impactful software features and effectively communicate value to stakeholders. Provide technical leadership and establish best practices across the SDLC, fostering a high-performance engineering culture focused on quality, ownership, and agility. Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, guiding technology decisions through data-driven insights and strategic planning. Skills and Requirements -6+ years of experience in software development, including middle-tier technologies and jBPM-driven orchestrations. If no jBPM- experience with an alternative BPM tool such as Camunda -Proficiency in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and reactive programming. -Experience with modern API integration frameworks and synchronous/asynchronous integrations (e.g., Kafka). -Strong understanding of transactional persistence, caching, and analytical data storage patterns. -Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native development. -Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevSecOps automation tools. -Proficient in open-source Java stack: Java, Spring, Postgres, Maven, Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, JUnit, Tomcat, Linux. -Experience designing and architecting highly scalable applications/platforms. -Knowledge of design patterns: GoF, microservices, refactoring, P of EAA, EIP. -Experience with open-source, microservices, and distributed computing technologies (e.g., REST, NoSQL, Kafka, Spark). -Exposure to API Gateway (e.g., Google Apigee), Product Catalog, Commerce/Pricing Engines, and AEM. -Ability to influence architectural decisions and participate in build vs. buy discussions. -Experience with diverse tech stacks including Angular, Node.js, AWS services (CloudFront, Lambda, ECS, Kinesis), Cassandra, Postgres, Redis, Elasticsearch, EMR, Spark Jobs. null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
