Our international client is looking for a Java Developer to join their team for a freelance B2B contract that is 6 months with a high chance of extension. This position is 3 days a week on-site in Belfast and 2 days remote for the duration of the project. The project is forecast for 2+ years.

Required Experience:

Strong programming experience in Java (Spring Boot or other Java frameworks). Advanced SQL skills, including performance tuning for large datasets. Experience using AWS services for data engineering (e.g., Glue, Lambda, Redshift, Athena). Familiarity with data pipelines, ETL workflows, or event-driven architectures. Experience developing microservices is highly desirable. Knowledge of financial data (reference, counterparty, instrument) is advantageous.
