**Job Summary** We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer with 6 to 10 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS SQL Spring Boot Angular JS Java and JavaScript. This role involves developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions in a hybrid work model. The position operates during the day shift and does not require travel. **Responsibilities** + Develop and maintain robust software applications using Java and Spring Boot to meet business requirements and enhance user experience. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions on AWS ensuring high availability and performance. + Utilize Angular JS and JavaScript to create dynamic and responsive front-end interfaces that improve user engagement. + Write efficient SQL queries and manage databases using mySQL to ensure data integrity and optimal performance. + Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to maintain code quality and adhere to best practices. + Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and improve system reliability. + Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning and retrospectives to contribute to continuous improvement. + Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into projects. + Document software designs technical specifications and user guides to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding. + Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers to foster skill development and team growth. + Ensure compliance with security standards and data protection regulations to safeguard company and customer information. + Optimize application performance through profiling and tuning to deliver fast and efficient software solutions. + Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical insights to align software development with business goals. **Qualifications** + Possess a strong understanding of AWS services and cloud architecture to effectively deploy and manage applications. + Demonstrate proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for building scalable and maintainable backend systems. + Exhibit expertise in Angular JS and JavaScript for developing interactive and user-friendly web applications. + Have experience with SQL and mySQL for efficient database management and query optimization. + Show familiarity with agile methodologies and tools to contribute effectively to team processes. + Display excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. **Certifications Required** AWS Certified Solutions Architect Oracle Certified Professional Java SE Programmer Cognizant is an equal opportunity employer.
