Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to join our innovative Generative AI (GenAI) initiative within a leading financial institution. This role is ideal for a developer who thrives at the intersection of cutting-edge AI technologies and enterprise-grade financial systems. You will be part of a cross-functional team building intelligent, scalable, and secure AI-powered applications that transform customer and employee experiences. Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java for GenAI-powered applications. Collaborate with AI/ML engineers, data scientists, and product teams to integrate GenAI models into production systems. Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Node.js and Koa. Develop and maintain front-end components using TypeScript. Ensure seamless integration with enterprise systems, including Oracle SIP and other financial platforms. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices. Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes. Contribute to architectural decisions and technology strategy for GenAI initiatives. Skills and Requirements 5+ years of professional experience in Java development. Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript. Hands-on experience with Koa or similar Node.js frameworks (e.g., Express). Familiarity with Oracle SIP or similar enterprise integration platforms. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Experience working on AI/ML or GenAI projects. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
