Role and ResponsibilityCandidate shall be working as Developer/ Senior Developer in the Cloud applications development. This is an agile methodology-based program where the candidate shall be participating in designing, implementation and peer code reviews. Candidate shall be working with Quest Global and Quest’s customer teams in a collaborative development model.Application stack includes Java spring boot and Microservices on AWS platform.Responsibilities of the candidate shall include but not limited toAnalyse requirements and/or specifications and translate these into software designs.Develop high quality software Code based on designPerform extensive unit and system level testing to ensure highest software qualityCollaborate with cross-functional teams to analyses, design, and ship new applications Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application/ services.Must Have SkillStrong hands-on experience in Java/J2EE with Spring boot/ Hibernate ( 4+ Y)Hands on experience in Microservices development and should be to differentiate the same with webservices. Debugging exposure in Development and Staging environments Strong hands-on experience in Database (Preferred RDBMS but noSQL is also ok)Exposure in Multithreading programming Experience OR Exposure and Inclination to do Test Automation / API Automation / Continues Testing. Candidate should have good understanding of all phases of the development lifecycle.Understanding of GIT and Maven.Nice to Have SkillProficiency in Dockers and CI/CD pipelineExperience in working in MongoDB, GoLangTest-driven development experienceExposure to cloud (AWS, Azure, Any)Kakfa, Rabbit MQAdditional InformationTeam PlayerGood communicationWillingness to cross-skill (or up-skill) to GO Lang or any other technology where Java/J2EE is considered as near skill.
