As a Payments Operations Vice President in the Payments Operations team, you will lead the local team, overseeing strategic direction, innovation, risk management, and regulatory compliance. Job Responsibilities:
Lead the Japan Payments operations team for flawless execution.Provide leadership on local clearing and settlement requirements and ensure operations deliverables are met with a focus on control and client satisfaction.Communicate status updates and provide KPIs to senior management.Foster innovation and continuous improvement within the team.Promote cross-functional collaboration for diverse perspectives and solutions.Implement automation and AI-driven solutions for efficiency.Mentor and develop a high-performing team in a collaborative environment.Ensure compliance with regulatory changes in Japan and liaise with regulatory bodies. Bachelor’s DegreeMinimum 8 years of experience within the Financial Services IndustryStrong understanding of Payments and Transaction Banking industry with knowledge of payments clearing and products like FXYCS, Zengin, SWIFT, FX.Proven track record in senior management roles, ideally with regional exposure.Experience partnering with offshore teams for Japan Payments Operations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for diverse stakeholder collaboration.Leadership capabilities to inspire and motivate teams.Team player with flexibility and positive attitude in demanding initiatives.Organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize information.Experience in large-scale transformation implementation.Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
