Job Responsibilities:

Role Summary

Partners with senior leadership on building and implementing corporate IT initiatives that support the strategy and goals of the corporation.

Implements IT standards, policies and/or master plan for the IT function.

Manages the development and acquisition of new technologies and tools to improve the organization's internal operations and data delivery.

Implements new technological directions and manages the organization in the deployment.

Provide leadership to supporting IT team members and provide governance to IT projects and ensures company resources are utilized appropriately.

Coordinates project activities and ensures all project phases are documented appropriately. Support is also required after hours.

Key ResponsibilitiesDirects daily operations of department, analyzing workflow, establishing priorities, developing standards, and setting deadlines.Plans, designs, and maintains the IT framework structure.Directs operations of computers and related equipment, including telecommunications and data networks.Evaluate the organization's technology use and needs and recommend improvements, such as hardware and software upgrades.Understands organizational needs and is able to direct/manage others in the development of plans for acquisition and installation of equipment.Ensures long-term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall information systems planning of the organization.Directs and coordinates consultations with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements.Directs others in assisting department managers in selection and setup of applications for their usage.Develop computer information resources, providing for data security and control, strategic computing, and disaster recovery.Establishes effective communications with appropriate executives and managers to ensure that proper needs for the organization are met.Handles or coordinates administrative matters concerning the IT department.Maintains responsibility for department budget including meeting budget goals and objectives as set forth by senior and executive leadership.Participates in and provides input to policy level direction regarding standards and budget constraints.Maintains level of technical proficiency with new and developing technology in the information systems field by participating with and maintaining memberships with professional work groups or reading trade periodicals or journals.Travel will be up to 20% to Asia, Europe and/or North America.

Education, Skills, and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in computer science/information technology required; master’s degree preferredMinimum 5 year experience of managing IT department in enterprise, multi-culture environment requiredPMP (Project Management Professional) or comparable experience desiredExperience in engineering or technology-driven business desiredBroad knowledge of computer and/or network systems, applications, procedures and techniquesGood knowledge of Microsoft365 suiteGood knowledge of IT service management (ITSM)Good knowledge of IT governance and control (ITGC)Good knowledge of modern Cloud services, AI and MLExperience leading others and providing constructive feedbackDemonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively and collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholdersSkill in organizing resources and establishing prioritiesAbility to learn and support new systems and applicationsAbility to work with others to resolve problems, handle requests or situationsDemonstrated knowledge of information technologies and methodologies related to assigned IT segment or areaDisplays a sense of urgency to resolve issues quickly and efficientlyA team player with the ability to enable changes in the business processes and ability to work cooperatively with all groups is essentialAbility to multi-task and handle on a proactive basis, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment in order to maximize time-management and efficiencies, etc.
