Japan Country Contract Manager Job ID 197947 Posted 12-Dec-2024 Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Facilities Management Location(s) Tokyo - Tokyo - Japan **Contract Manager** **Role Overview:** You will be responsible for overseeing and managing contractor contracts, certifications, and documentation in accordance with both CBRE and client requirements. This role involves ensuring that contractual services are delivered according to agreements and involves active coordination with clients, contractors, and CBRE teams.They are responsible for managing the delivery of contractual services to ensure requirements are fulfilled while maintaining agreed client and CBRE commercial objectives. **Key Responsibilities:** + Contract Fulfillment: + Oversee and monitor the fulfillment of contractual obligations between clients, CBRE, and contractors. + Review, interpret, and evaluate contracts and service agreements to ensure compliance. + Amendments & Proposals: + Review amendments to existing contracts and handle requests for contract extensions. + Provide recommendations for approval or offer alternative solutions through client, CBRE processes. + Prepare and evaluate proposals for the continuation or new contracts, making award recommendations. + Client & Contractor Management: + Manage relationships with clients and contractors, ensuring timely and quality service delivery. + Address client inquiries and ensure improvements are being implemented based on feedback. + Management: + Coordinating daily work activities, establishing annual plan/work schedules, and prioritizing tasks to meet client and CBRE management reporting requirements. + Ensure work is planned to achieve safety outcomes + Contractor Coordination: + Manage contractor relationships, ensuring work orders are assigned, completed, and reported accurately. + Provide contractors with training on billing and work order procedures. + Financial Management: + Process invoices, ensuring proper cost center coding and adherence to financial requirements. + Monitor contract costs and manage the budget in line with financial goals. + Achieve set CBRE financial targets + Reporting & Documentation: + Generate and maintain reports on open and closed contracts, work orders, and proposals. + Maintain files on contracts, contractor information, and department records. **Skills/Qualifications/Competencies:** + : Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, or a related field preferred. Equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. + : Minimum 5-7 years of experience in contract management, facilities management, project coordination or a related field.
