What You'll Do as a Janitor:

Keep university dorms clean and well-maintained to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for students.Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting common areas, restrooms, hallways, and student lounges.Ensure assigned areas are spotless by paying close attention to every detail.Safely handle and operate cleaning equipment, mix chemical cleaning solutions as needed, and follow proper safety procedures.Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly.Complete assigned cleaning schedules and respond to any additional cleaning needs as required.Other duties as assigned to support a clean and welcoming campus environment.

Work Experience

The Preferred Candidate Will Bring:

Be experienced in cleaning, custodial, sanitation, janitorial, housekeeping, and disinfecting.Have the ability to follow directions, be self-managed, and utilize time effectively to complete tasks.Be experienced with how to properly handle cleaning supplies and equipment.Need to frequently stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, or repetitively carry loads up to 20 lbs. for the duration of your shift.
