Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a custodian at a major manufacturing site in Glendale, KY. This role is crucial in maintaining cleanliness and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

ResponsibilitiesPerform floor care tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, and carpet spotting.Conduct surface care duties including dusting, sanitizing, and cleaning glass/mirrors/windows.Polish metal and wood surfaces and clean blinds and draperies.Manage waste removal by emptying trash and recycle bins, and transporting waste to disposal areas.Handle light maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs and restocking supply cabinets/rooms.Essential SkillsPrevious experience in cleaning and janitorial duties.Strong customer service skills and the ability to work effectively with team members.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to stand and walk throughout the shift.Dependability and a strong work ethic.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This is a night shift position with hours from Thursday to Sunday, 6:00 pm to 4:30 am. The role requires steel toe shoes, black work pants, and a plain t-shirt or shirt with minimal writing. You will be on your feet throughout the shift in a large manufacturing site, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and customer service. Training is available.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glendale, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
